Trust in leadership

For me leadership requires both confidence and trust. In my experience this is a two way process. I must have confidence in myself and in my team. They must have confidence in their leader and confidence in themselves. I believe that leaders can be most effective when they find ways to enhance the capability, credibility and potential of their team members. In doing this they are demonstrating that trust and confidence are an integral part of what they do.
